Account
An account is optional. It lets you keep your saved identities (colours, fonts, style settings and an optional original logo) and reuse them when signed in.
There is no password and no email. You sign in with a passkey: the same fingerprint, face or screen lock you use to unlock your device. Your device keeps the secret part; we only keep a public key that cannot be used to sign in.
If you lose all devices with your passkey you lose the account; synced passkeys (iCloud/Google) avoid this.
